Neighbourhood Fix-It is another excellent project from the UK organisation mySociety. I regularly use some of their other sites, particularly TheyWorkForYou, which helps us hold our politicians accountable. Before TheyWorkForYou very few people had much information on their political representatives and they could trade on that ignorance.
The idea of Neighbourhood Fix-It is simple. If there is a problem in your area, such as fly tipping or or potholes in the road, it helps you send a message to your local council. What a great service.
