Fake news

If the news in any way involves Trump, no matter how remotely, the New York Times, Washington Post and the UK's Guardian are sure to put the story on their front pages. Some may do special supplements.

The BBC will run the story ad nauseam on both the TV and radio. Presented by the usual lickspittles and with interviews with lecturers from 3rd rate universities who can be depended upon to say the right things.

BTW - does anybody remember this earlier example of fake news?

The last straw in fake news

Some people have been getting anxious about the use of plastic straws. They should be banned, they cry.

The media have picked up on this and cited various statistics about the number of plastic straws that are being used.

'Each day, Americans use an estimated 500 million straws. The number has been used to illustrate the scale of the issue and modern society’s reliance on this ubiquitous piece of disposable plastic.

It turns out, however, that the number is imprecise and originates from Milo Cress, a young environmentalist who researched straw usage to come up with the 500 million estimate when he was just nine years old.

As a curious fourth grader who had just started an environmental project to discourage restaurants from providing straws by default, Cress decided to look online to find out how many straws are used each day in the United States. Not being able to find any statistics, he called straw manufacturers directly and estimated the 500 million figure based on numbers they provided him.'

Time had the following on their front cover.

The reality is rather different. The BBC has the correct story.

Mr Valera said his daughter and her mother, Sandra Sanchez, have been detained together in the border town of McAllen as Ms Sanchez sought asylum. 
Honduran Deputy Foreign Minister Nelly Jerez verified Mr Valera's version of events to Reuters.

Carlos Ruiz, the Border Patrol agent who stopped Ms Sanchez and her daughter, said the mother was asked to set the child down so she could be searched.

"The kid immediately started crying as she set her down," said Mr Ruiz. "I personally went up to the mother and asked her, 'Are you doing OK? Is the kid OK?' 

"And she said, 'Yes. She's tired and thirsty. It's 11 o'clock at night.'"

The BBC published an objective report.  At the time of posting the libtards at the Guardian are still silent.

I wonder if Time will apologise for publishing fake news?

It is remarkable how the libtards are so obsessed by their hatred of Trump that they cannot help stepping into his fake news bear trap.

What the media reported -

" I saw a headlining story on the BBC about how Donald Trump had tipped a whole box of fish food into a pond full of carp during his trip to Japan, heavily implying he lacked the patience or intelligence to feed them slowly with a spoon as he was supposed to."

What actually happened -

"Moments before, Shinzo Abe threw his entire box into the pond and Trump simply followed suit, and all of this can be seen in the unedited clip. But major news channels like the BBC and CNN decided to go with a carefully edited clip which showed Trump looking foolish, and ran it on their front pages. Someone, somewhere in these organisations are quite deliberately making these decisions, abandoning all pretence of impartiality and accurate reporting."

It is sad to see organisations like the BBC throw away their reputation for impartial reporting. All because the liberal haters want to blackwash Trump and are willing to damage their organisations credibility to indulge their own political prejudices.

Does it not occur to them that all they are doing is proving Trump right when  he contemptuously dismisses their output as fake news.

How to get the US military to act as your stooges.

Step 1 - stage a gas attack and get the Western politicians and media to blame it on the Syrian Government.  Do not bother to falsify any evidence. Nobody will ask for it.

Step 2 - watch in glee as the US Navy launches cruise missiles against Syrian airbase.  Thank Allah for making stupid people.

Step 3 - listen to Trump threaten to bomb Syrian government if another gas attack occurs.  Congratulations, you have just been given a blank check.

Step 4 -  stage another gas attack.

Step 5 - repeat until WW3 breaks out and all infidels are destroyed.
