Following the electoral setback for Terrormonger General Bush, the head of MI5, Dame Eliza Manningham-Buller, rushed out from under her stone to deliver some alarming messages. These came down to the following
Terrorists are everywhere.
We are all going to die.
MI5 will not be able to stop all/any of them from carrying out their dastardly deeds so send me my Get Out of Jail Free card now.
Increase my budget.
The BBC, and most of the British press, eagerly rushed to report this in their usual uncritical and panicky tone.
