Naming the king

So we have a king Charles the Third.  Charles 1 had his head chopped off by Cromwell when they realised he was so arrogant and treacherous that they could not have him as a constitutional monarch.

Charles 2 suffered from satyriasis. Apparently, if an attractive woman came into his presence he was apt to greet her by fondling her breasts and thrusting his hand between her legs.

His brother, the duke of York, was also a sexual predator. The city of New York is named after him [yes, really]. The current holder of the Duke of York title is Prince Andrew.

You have to wonder what the queen was thinking when she was naming the future heir to the throne.
