This is one of the best drives in the world.
The Great Ocean Road runs from Torquay [60 miles west of Melbourne] to Warrnambool. It passes by some of Australia's best beaches such as Bell's Beach and Jan Juc [and my favourite, Point Lonsdale], the Twelve Apostles rock formation, Loch Ard Gorge, historic sites such as a fort built to protect against Russian invasion [yes, really] and quaint holiday, fishing and resort towns.
