Another corruption scandal has hit the UK's Labour government, with an ex-minister describing himself as being like a taxi. I assume he means he is available for hire for any journey to any destination.
It seems that governments are like underwear. Whatever their colour, if you don't change them regularly they start to smell.
The last Conservative government started to smell after it had been in office for far too long. Now the same thing is happening to the present government.
If any group is in office for too long and has too much unchecked power, it seems inevitable that it will change from a government to a kleptocracy.
